FBG Strain Sensor

S1 Strain Sensor

Sensor has a protective silicone case. It can be spot welded directly to the metal surfaces (pipes, beams, bench testing, bridgeworks and reservoirs).
FBG Strain Sensor ST2

ST2 Strain Sensor

ST2 consists of 2 FBGs inside the housing. The strain and temperature can be achieved simultaneously. The housing consists of a sliding mechanism that allows both ends to move freely relative to each other. ST2 sensor can be embedded into various composite structures.

S8 Strain Sensor

Sensor can be welded or mounted using anchors on metal surfaces of pipelines, tunnels, bridges.
FBG Strain Sensor S9

S9 Strain Sensor

The FBG is fixed inside a stainless steel housing between two anchoring points. The housing consists of a sliding mechanism that allows both ends to move freely relative to each other. S9 can be spot welded directly to the metal surfaces.
FBG Strain Sensor S10

S10 Strain Sensor

The FBG is fixed inside a stainless steel housing between two anchoring points. The housing consists of a sliding mechanism that allows both ends to move freely relative to each other. S10 sensor can be embedded into various composite structures.
FBG Strain Sensor S11

S11 Strain Sensor

The FBG is fixed inside a stainless steel housing between two anchoring points. The housing consists of a sliding mechanism that allows both ends to move freely relative to each other. S11 sensor can be glued to various materials.

FBG Strain Sensors Applications

Fiber optic strain gauge is welded directly into the surface of the metal structure (pipes, beams, etc.), and it has a protective silicone cover.Fiber optic strain sensors are durable and stable, widely used for civil engineering constructions, particularly they reinforce concrete structures exceptionally well.

Fiber Bragg Grating strain sensors demonstrate lots of advantages compared to the regular electrical strain gauges. Namely, they are immune to electromagnetic interference and power shortages. Compact size devices provide the most accurate measurements. FBGs are, literally, the best strain sensors right now.
